A week-long festival of blues will hit Wrocław’s outdoor venues next month as the city’s beach bar season comes to a close.
The Vertigo Summer Blues Festival begins on Monday September 7th at ZaZoo Beach Bar, where popular local outfit the HooDoo Band will play.
A day later, the JJ Band shall perform at Hala Świebodzki, while Outsider are to play onboard the Statek Wratislava boat the same evening.
On Wednesday the sounds of New Orleans will emanate from the roof of Monopol Hotel courtesy of the Gawroński / Zarecki New Orleans Ensemble.
Thursday’s concert takes place at The Bridge Hotel and sees Kazik Pabiasz perform hits by the legendary band Breakout.
Things then go indoors on Friday evening when the Crackers band play at Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant.
On Saturday, the festival moves to Babie Lato outdoor bar at the Partynice Racecourse, with Bartek Miarka and Sebastian Riedel both on the bill.
Finally, the week-long celebration of blues ends on Sunday with two concerts. The VW Project will play on Daliowa Island, followed by the Boogie Boys at Marina Kleczków later in the evening.
