
Restaurants, cafes and confectioners in Wrocław’s Trójkąt district have teamed up to create a Tuesday discount scheme.
According to Gazeta Wyborcza, the initiative was the brainchild of vegan hangout Alternatywy 4. After discussions with their culinary neighbours, a total of 14 venues agreed to be part of the scheme.
The promotional Tuesdays will begin from next week and last throughout August. The discounts are as follows:
- Krasnolód, ul. Komuny Paryskiej 10: 25% of ice cream
- Kotlet Schabowy, ul. Komuny Paryskiej 10: kotlet schabowy for just 10zł
- Alternatywy 4, ul. Komuny Paryskiej 5: ‘surprise’ discounts every Tuesday
- Bar Detes, ul. Kniaziewicza 9: free compot with every order
- Folgujemy, ul. Kniaziewicza 16: 10% off a coffee or a large lemonade
- Look Cafe, ul. T. Kościuszki 86: 10% off coffee
- Dobro&Dobro, ul. Małachowskiego 2: 10% off coffee
- W Trójkącie, ul. Kościuszki 133, wtorek: 10% off pizza
- Wyspa Zdrowia, ul. Prądzyńskiego 37: 10% discount on everything
- Onzmywa.pl, ul. Prądzyńskiego 37/1a: all items on the promotion shelf priced 4 zł
- Pizzasso, ul. Traugutta 96: 15% off pizza
- Pierogarnia Babuni, ul. Komuny Paryskiej 96: 10% off set menus
- Manufaktura Chleba, ul. Brzeska 18a: free banana bread when you buy 2 loves of any bread
- Rybka i Frytka, ul. Krakowska 83: 10% off everything

Not so long ago, the area had a reputation for being a bit shady, but much like Nadodrze, things have improved over the years and the district is becoming increasingly attractive.
