Two new outdoor pools opened at Wrocław Aquapark earlier today, giving Wrocławians yet another option for swimming in the open air this summer.
The new pools have been built on a plot of land bordering ul. Petrusewicz from the north and Anders Hill from the west. You can access the pools from ul. Petrusewicz (in front of Kaufland car park).
The first pool is recreational and has a depth of 1.2 m. The second one, a paddling pool for children, is 0.4 metres deep.
The pools have been equipped with special wheelchair lifts for the disabled and four high chairs for lifeguards. On site you’ll also find changing rooms, lockers, baby changing facilities, showers and toilets.
Besides having a dip in the pool, visitors to he new facility can also relax on sun loungers decked out on Anders Hill. On top of that, the pools have their own bar with cold drinks and other refreshments.
According to current coronavirus restrictions, the number of people allowed in the aquapark is 75% its normal capacity. Before entering, a thermal imaging camera will measure your temperature; entry to those with a high temperature is not allowed. It is also necessary to cover your mouth and nose in the open areas of the changing rooms and in the hallway.
