The Polish Football Association have announced that Poland’s Nations League fixture against Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held in Wrocław.
The match will kick off on Wednesday 14th October at 20.45. Three days before, Poland are to take on Italy in Gdańsk.
At the time of writing, matches can be held in Poland with the participation of the crowd. However, stadiums are capped at 25% capacity, which would make it rather difficult to get tickets for a match as big as this. The situation may nonetheless change if the number of active coronavirus cases continues to fall.
In recent years, Poland have only played friendly matches in Wrocław. Therefore the Nations League game against Bosnia and Herzegovina offers Wrocławians a rare chance to see the national team perform in a competitive fixture.
PZPN also announced that Poland will take on Ukraine in Chorzów on Independence Day, followed by the Netherlands at the same venue a week later.
