A new office building located across the road from Sky Tower will be home to Coventry University’s Wrocław campus.
The University announced back in 2018 that they would have a campus in Wrocław. However, things have been delayed somewhat as they had expected to be up and running last year.
The new Skanska building should be ready for the University to move in sometime over the summer, meaning the complex will be up and running in time for the new academic year.
I am glad that the decision on renting rooms for the new University of Coventry campus in Wrocław’s Centrum Południe complex has been confirmed.
It is a perfect location for us. Being adjacent to the Sky Tower building is an ideal learning place for our students.
The quality of buildings is excellent and allows us to offer high quality education in modern facilities. I am looking forward to opening the campus and welcoming new students in September 2020.
John Dishman, Vice Rector of the University of Coventry and CEO of the University of Coventry Group
To begin with, the Wrocław branch of Coventry University will be able accept around 160 students. Full-time and part-time courses in subjects like cyber security, IT, engineering and hotel management will be available. All of the lectures and tutorials are to be conducted in English.
The English University also say that they intend to closely cooperate with local businesses so as to help students prepare themselves for future work.
