Pussy Riot To Perform In Wrocław

Eccentric Russian punk band Pussy Riot are among the artists performing at this year’s Przegląd Piosenki Aktorskiej festival in Wrocław.

The group first hit the headlines back in 2012, when a performance inside Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Savior resulted in some of the band going to prison.

Since then the imprisoned band members have been released, while the group has also gone on to make many more public protests and performances.

The lineup of the band has chopped and changed over the years, however they have continued to release music and tour. Indeed, their 2020 US tour starts this March. According to Pussy Riot’s tour schedule, their Wrocław concert on 22nd March will be sandwiched between dates in Denver and Vancouver.

Other artists set to perform at the 41st Przegląd Piosenki Aktorskiej include Kovacs, Mary Komasa, and Salvador Sobral. Tickets for events at the festival range from 1zł to up to 190zł. To get your tickets, visit the festival website here.
