Black Friday In Wrocław: Which Stores Are Participating?

Like it or loathe it, Poland has jumped on the Black Friday bandwagon. So we thought we’d take a look at some of the places promising promotions in the coming days.

Yes, you heard right – Black Friday is now a thing in Poland. There are not quite the same dramatic offers, while there are no serious shopping related injuries or fights to speak of either (the latter seems to reserved for one-off supermarket promotions throughout the year).

You can nonetheless find plenty of promotions from a multitude of high street retailers and other companies.

Many chains have started their Black Friday discounts already. The electronics shops are a good example, with the likes of Media Markt, Euro AGD and Media Expert already offering various promotions. Alternatively, you can of course hunt for deals from online retailers via Allegro or ceneo.pl.

Carrefour’s Black Friday sale has also started. It offers as much as 30% off selected goods, including perfumes, toys and furniture. The same is true of the discount supermarkets, with both Lidl and Biedronka doing deals on items like DIY tools, clothing, handbags and kitchen appliances.

When it comes to toiletries and beauty products, Superpharm are advertising discounts of up 50%. Not wanting to be undone, Rossmann are getting in on the act too – cutting prices on jewelry, perfume and other beauty products.

On top of that, on Black Friday itself Magnolia Park will give away 750 vouchers worth 50zł each. The vouchers, which are to be handed out on a first-come-first-served basis, are valid on all purchases (including multiple items) over 250zł.

Although most shops are advertising discounts on specific products, a few retailers are offering blanket discounts on all their goods. Calzedonia, Converse, H&M, Kazar, Ottaviano, Pandora, Sfera and Vojas are among those to offer 20% off everything (on Friday and Saturday). Happy Socks, Lacoste and Runcolors will go one step further by discounting all of their items by 30%.

For a comprehensive look at all the deals available, check these lists published by ceneo.pl, Magnolia Park, Wroclavia, Aleja BielanyPasaż Grunwaldzki and Galeria Dominikanska.
