Wrocław’s Sex-Ed Themed Tram To Return For Juwenalia

On May 28th a sex-education themed tram is to transport students to and from the ‘Wittigowo’ district, where the annual Juwenalia celebrations take place.

Named after the well known play “A Streetcar Named Desire”, the tram will host a team of medical students who plan to give advice on sexual health and STDS, as well as hand out free condoms.

A Dj will also play music on tram in order to create the party atmosphere long associated with the annual week of Juwenalia parties.

The tram made its debut in 2017 and now it seems set to become a fixture during Juwenalia. Similar trams now also operate in Warsaw, Kraków, Poznań, Gdańsk, Łódź, Lublin, Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Olsztyn, Szczecin, Białystok, Zielona Góra, Radom and Opole.

The exact route the tram will take in 2019 is yet to be confirmed. Last year it hit Wrocław’s tracks at 18.20 starting at the Zoo tram stop.
