More Cycle Lanes To Be Constructed In Wrocław

Wrocław City Council have announced the construction of 15 new cycle lanes.

The additional cycle lanes were voted for by 9,000 of the Wrocławians who took part in the latest edition of Wrocław’s Citizens budget.

The cost of construction is thought to around 1 million złoty. Piastowska, Borowska and Wróblewskiego are among the streets to receive new cycle lanes.

According to Gazeta Wrocławska, the 15 cycle lanes are as follows:

  • 1. ul Awicenny – from ul. Pińska to ul. Trawowa
  • 2. ul. Piastowska, ul. Janickiego, ul. Kraińskiego and św. Ducha
  • 3. ul Wyszyńskiego – from ul. Benedyktyńska to ul. Damrota
  • 4. ul Strzegomska – from ul. Stacyjnej to ul. Śrubowej
  • 5. ul Nowodworska – from ul. Gubińskiej to ul. Wojrowickiej
  • 6. ul. Na Grobli, ul. Walońska and pl. Wróblewskiego
  • 7. ul. Zabrodzka – from ul. Waflowa to ul. Połabian
  • 8. ul. Borowska – ul. Bardzka
  • 9. ul. Spiska – ul. Borowska
  • 10. pl. Społeczna
  • 11. ul. Gliniana
  • 12. ul. Małachowskiego
  • 13. ul. Solskiego – from al. Piastów to Oporowski bridge
  • 14. ul. Grobla Krzywa – from ul. Na Niskich Łąkach to ul. kładka Siedlecka
  • 15. ul. Hugona Kowarzyka
