‘Mammoth Park’ To Officially Open On Saturday

‘Mammoth Park’ (or Park Mamuta in Polish) will be officially opened in Wrocław’s Oporów district this Saturday.

The park is the result of many years of hard work, plus votes that helped the project triumph in the 2014 edition of Wrocław’s Citizens’ Budget.

The park is located south of Park Grabiszyński, on the other side of the Ślęza river.

According to the project’s official Facebook page, the park will incorporate a play area for children as well as outdoor cross-fit facilities.

During the opening of the park on Saturday between 11am and 3pm, visitors will be invited to plant the last shrubs of the project.

Those looking to get to the park by public transport can take trams 4,5,14 or 20 to the Oporów stop. Alternatively, you can use bus 125 and get off at the Bukowskiego stop.
