The new cafes opening up in Wroclaw over the last few years have responded clearly to the continuing rise of coffee culture in the city. With Competition so fierce, coffee shop owners and baristas are becoming increasingly knowledgeable about their produce in order to do what it takes to make their cafes stand out from the rest.
Take Giselle Cafe for example, a cozy French Café that has brought a slice of French charm and beauty to the street of Ul Szewska. Providing all day continental breakfasts with freshly baked breads and pastries, it’s truly the first of its sorts in the area.
If you do happen to pop in, we recommend you opt for The Giselle Breakfast and the Scrambled Eggs in Brioche —the cafe's undeniable stars of the show. Pair that with their Green Tea flavored Chai Tea Latte, and you have yourself a unique breakfast combo up there among the city's best.
The Giselle Breakfast costs 14zl and includes a basket of fresh baked breads, assorted spreads and your choice of coffee/tea or juice. Our favorite spreads were the toffee and apricot, while the chocolate was equally indulgent.
The creamy scrambled eggs in the buttery and fluffy brioche was as satisfying as it was comforting, and with a salad on the side, we were officially prepped to start our day in a positive mood.
Though there are plenty of cafes in the area, it seems Giselle has already become a bit of a local hit. So whether you step in for the all day breakfasts, or are after something sweet to take back to work alongside that delicious coffee, either way, you’ll be smiling.
