New Places To Check Out This October

Wrocław’s culinary scene is constantly evolving as venues come and go. Here’s our latest summary of new places in town.

First up this month is a Peruvian-themed “Jungle Room and Pisco Bar”. Open as of today, this new venue comes courtesy of the team behind the Mexican food-truck and restaurant chain Panczo.

Panczo enjoys a pretty solid reputation here in Wrocław, so locals will be looking forward to see what they have cooked up with this latest project.

Little is known about the menu or pricing at this stage. However, photos from Peruwania’s Facebook Page reveal that the owners had a culinary adventure in Peru earlier this year. One would expect the experience from this trip to have provided the inspiration for most of the eatery’s dishes.

Ecco Pizza

It seems that a week doesn’t go by without another pizzeria springing up in Wrocław. In this latest case, we have an old pizzeria morphing into a new one.

Zio Pesto on Ofiar Oświęcimskich has now become Ecco Pizza, a venue that is already up and running in Walbrzych. Just like any other pizzeria opening their doors in Wrocław, they’ll have a battle on their hands trying to make their mark in a crowded marketplace.

Mango Mama Ovo

Indian-fusion chain Mango Mama have had a restaurant at the Ovo Building in the works for some time.

It has now finally opened, becoming the third of their restaurants in Wrocław.

One of the latest food-trucks to graduate to a restaurant is Kartel, who will be hoping to give the likes of Panczo and El Gordito a run for their money. Their first bricks-and-mortar venue is located next to Chopper Bar on Kotlarska street.

Doing so won’t be easier however, as the recent closure of El Spaso on Bogusławskiego street shows.

Craft Restauracja

The penultimate venue on our list is very much in the premium bracket, Craft Restauracja on Ostrów Tumski.

The place prides itself in using quality local ingredients and has already received glowing reviews from food critics.

Let’s Talk Caffe

Last but not least, we have a new cafe set up by Indian sweet specialists ‘Let’s Talk Cafe’.

Besides those Indian desserts and various hot drinks, the Grabiszyńska street cafe also offer a wide variety of French macarons.

All of the venues in this article were compiled with the aid of info from the excellent food blog wroclawskiejedzenie.pl and its sister page wroclovefood.pl.
