New Culinary-inspired Integration Project Launched

A new project designed to get Wrocław’s Poles and foreigners together in the kitchen has been launched by the Go and Act Foundation.

Titled ‘Poznajmy się od Kuchni’ (or ‘Let’s meet at the kitchen table’ in English), the initiative hopes to encourage local Polish natives to meet up with other Wrocławians from around the globe.

‘Let’s meet at the kitchen table ‘ is an intercultural socio-culinary initiative. As part of the project, we want to get to know the residents of Wrocław who come from different countries and represent different cultures.

The idea is simple: complete strangers or whole families invite each other for dinner or to cook together. We encourage Wrocław residents to open their homes and visit each other – to host new friends, and later pay them a visit in return.

This is an excellent opportunity to make new friends, but also to learn about other cultures and traditions. Let’s get to know each other and meet at the kitchen table – this is where new friendships are born!

Those interested in taking part need only following the instructions in the infographic below, prepared by the project’s organisers. You can find the link to the application form here
