Additional Outdoor Pools Coming To Wrocław Aquapark Next Summer

Wrocław Aquapark, which continues to hit new highs in visitor numbers, will gain two new outdoor pools next summer.

The first of those outdoor pools is recreational; it shall cover 425 square metres and have a depth of 1.2m. The second pool, which spans 82 square metres and has a depth of 0.4, will be dedicated to children.

Wrocław Aquapark’s plans also include a new building equipped with changing rooms and lockers. Located next to Kaufland car-park, it will mainly serve visitors using the outdoor facilities.

The Aquapark’s popularity has skyrocketed in recent years and it is arguably bursting at the seams, hence the need for an expansion. It is estimated that as many as 2 million visits are made there every year.

Back in October, Wrocław Aquapark also announced the construction of an extra hall with facilities dedicated to children and families.

The 39 million złoty extension includes a 700 square metre ‘water playground’ for kids, plus a 150 square metre shallow pool for young children. On top of that, they’ll be 60 ‘free-standing interactive toys’ for youngsters to experiment with.

Both of the above mentioned projects will be funded entirely from the Aquapark’s own finances. The outdoor pool and changing rooms will be ready next year, with the new indoor pool scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021.
