Wrocław Panthers Champions Again

Wrocław’s American football team have become Polish champions again after defeating Białystok Lowlanders 28-14 at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday.

The result saw the Panthers avenge their 13-14 loss to the same side at the same venue last season. Having already lost 2 finals on home soil, Saturday’s win proved particularly sweet for the Panthers.

At half time the sides were tied at 7-7, however the Panthers’ quality eventually shone through and they won by a relatively comfortable margin in the end.

The Panthers proved rightful winners and have been in phenomenal form all season. Val Gunn’s side went the entire domestic season undefeated and scored an incredible 425 points in the regular season.
