Shelter For Homeless Women To Be Built In Tarnogaj

A 1,200-square-metre homeless shelter for women with a capacity of 80 will open in the district of Tarnogaj in 2021.

The complex will be constructed opposite the existing St.Albert Homeless Shelter for men on ul. Bogedaina.

According to tuwroclaw.com, the 1-storey building will have a ‘H’ shape and be divided into five parts. The whole shelter will be accessible to the disabled.

The bedrooms will all be located in one wing of the building, while 2 parts of the building are to be dedicated to therapy and workshops. The 4th section of the building will be home to offices and medical rooms, with the final section of the complex housing laundry and technical facilities.

The exact cost of the project is not yet known. That will become clear once the tendering process is officially announced and the offers come in.
