Wrocław’s Rum Love Festival Returns For 3rd Year On June 7th

300 different types of rum will be available at the two-day festival

Wrocław’s annual Rum Festival is on the way next month and is set to be bigger and better than ever.

According to the organisers of Rum Love, this year’s festival will be home to 300 different varieties of rum (good luck making your way through all of them smiley). As has always been the case, the festival will take place at the Congress Centre inside Hala Stulecia.

Last year there were exhibitors from Jamaica, Cuba, Mauritius, Colombia, Panama, Dominican Republic and Japan. Those in attending the festival on June 7th and 8th can expect to find more of the same this time round.

Traditionally, the festival area is split into two zones; the internal zone hosts tastings, workshops and ‘training’, while the external zone is the place to try cigars, coffee, cocktails and food.

One rather quirky attraction at the festival is the chance to use an on site barber and hairdresser free of charge. This comes presumably comes courtesy of the house barber at Blackbeard, the Rum Bar come Barbershop on Tęczowa street who run the festival.

On top of that, live music will form the backdrop to all the day’s activities.

Tickets for the festival cost 80zł (1-day) or 120zł (2-days). If you fancy splashing out on the VIP treatment, you can also part with 500zł for a VIP ticket.
