Wrocław’s culinary scene is constantly evolving as venues come and go. Here’s our latest summary of new places in town.
First up is not so much of opening, but rather an re-opening. After a successful debut in the summer of 2018, the Craft na Manhattanie project is back.
Set up in the courtyard in front of the cult ‘Manhattan’ blocks in the Grunwaldzki district, Craft na Manhattanie sees Kontynuacja, Panczo and Osiem Misek team up to provide craft beer, Mexican and Asian food respectively.
A new bar named ‘Urban Garden’ is opening on the roof of Renoma shopping centre on Thursday.
The official opening of the bar will feature a ticketed concert by Jazz outfit the Vertigo Band. You can get tickets for the gig, which cost 30zł each, on the Vertigo Jazz Club & Restaurant website.
From Friday May 3rd until the end of September, Urban Garden will be open to the public with no entrance fee. According to tuwroclaw.com, the bar will span 500 square metres and have 200 seating places.
The rooftop bar is to open between 12pm and 10pm from Sunday-Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Another venue that’s now re-opened is Ukrainian eatery and culture-cafe Kres, which has moved to Kazimierza Wielkiego street.
Besides hearty Ukrainian dishes, you can also find a variety of cakes and beers at Kres – so it seems they are very much set to pick up from where they left off in January.

Next up is another Pizza place – the second branch of Le Ser.
Having created a little bit of a niche for themselves by creating tasty pizza in a slightly different style to the Neapolitan type that’s dominated Wrocław recently, Le Ser have now set up shop on Łódzka street in the Południe district.
For those not in-the-know, the original branch of Le Ser is on Wejherowska street.
Our penultimate venue on the list is the latest place in town to have a go at Ramen. The restaurant is located on the former site of BLT & Tapas on Ruska street.
The place is run by a restaurateur long inspired by Japanese cuisine (and who somewhat randomly also plays American football for Wrocław Panthers).
Meals are available in Okami for between 18 and 32zł.
Last but not least, we have the latest beach bar to come to Wrocław. As of May 10th, the pond that lies next to Kunickiego street will be home to Hydroplan Beach Bar.
The owners of the bar are promising to deliver a wide variety of attractions on site, from a beach volleyball area to foodtrucks and a playzone for kids.
All of the venues in this article were compiled with the aid of info from the excellent food blog wroclawskiejedzenie.pl and its sister page wroclovefood.pl.
