Michael Kiwanuka To Headline Wrocław’s WroSound Festival

Acclaimed English singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka will be the main attraction at this year’s Wrosund Festival on June 15th.

Seven years ago Kiwanuka’s  debut album ‘Home Again’ went gold in the UK. In the same year he also won the BBC’s Sound of 2012. Four years later his second record ‘Love & Hate’ fared even better – debuting at number one.

On top of that, Kiwanuka has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Brit Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards and the Mercury Prize.

The announcement of Kiwanuka is something of a coup for Wrosound given the relatively high profile of the talented Indie-Folk singer. Kiwanunka is also set to play at massive festivals like Pinkpop and Glastonbury, while two of his songs have been streamed over 52 million times on Spotify.

The concert will take place at plac Społeczny on the second day of the festival – Saturday June 15th.

Tickets go on sale on Monday via strefakultury.pleventim.plempikbilety.pl and Going. You can also buy them at Barbara infopoint.
