Koleje Dolnośląskie

First on our list is Koleje Dolnośląskie, the train operator for the Lower Silesia region.

35zl weekend offer

Koleje Dolnośląskie operate most of the internal rail routes in our region and they offer a handy weekend ticket that allows unlimited travel between Friday at 6pm to Monday morning at 6am. On long weekends the ticket’s validity also extends further. Named Podróżuj z KD, you can buy this promotional ticket (and all of the others in this article) at the relevant counter at the train station. You can also use the Koleo app (described later) to buy your ticket by choosing the ‘bilet okresowy’ option at the bottom of the screen.

Group offers

Another promotion run by Koleje Dolnośląskie is called Razem z KD. This deal gives the 2nd, 3rd and 4th passengers on a ticket a 30% discount on the price of the journey. If you use the Koleo app, the promotion is automatically applied when you add additional passengers in the selection menu.

PolRegio

PolRegio provide trains that travel both within and across Poland’s regions. They are typically cheaper than the intercity services.
