Wrocław Airport Set For Expansion

Plans are afoot to increase the length of Wrocław Airport’s terminal by 150 metres, while a hotel is also set to be constructed nearby.

According to Gazeta Wrocławska, Wrocław Airport want to be able to attract as many as 5 million passengers per year – up from the record figure of 3.3 million achieved in 2018.

In order to achieve this they want to expand the terminal building by 75 metres on each side, which would provide more space for extra check in desks. The work is scheduled to begin by 2023 at the latest.

There are also plans for an 8-storey, 120-room hotel to be built next to the airport.
