Zamkowa Tram Stop On Kazimierza Wielkiego Operational Again

The Zamkowa tram stop on Kazimierza Wielkiego has returned to the MPK network.

Some of our readers may remember that the tram stop was introduced while the Świdnicka underpass/tram stop renovation was carried out.

However once Świdnicka returned to the timetable in February 2016, the Zamkowa stop suffered the opposite fate.

The decision did nonetheless seem strange. Although the Zamkowa tram stop is very close to the Świdnicka one, it is rather new and has digital departure boards. Therefore not using the stop does seem like a waste of money.

By getting off at Zamkowa, passengers also have quicker access to pl. Wolności, the National Music Forum, the History Museum and pl. Solny. The stop is also conveniently close to pubs like Marynka Piwo i Aperitivo, Graciarnia and Salvador.
