Relaxation ‘Float Pods’ Come To Wrocław

So called float pods, which allegedly facilitate relaxation via the sensation of floating in salty water, have come to Wrocław.

According to one Canada-based float pod business, float pods provide a “private space where you can experience freedom from your senses”.

The float pads themselves, which are described as having a “light and sound free environment”, contain roughly 10 inches of water with a considerable amount of dissolved Epsom salt. The water in the pods is also “perfectly heated to skin temperature”, which allows users “to feel weightless and be free from your senses”.

Wrocław’s first float pod business, Float Wrocław, is being run on Piotr Czajkowskiego street in the northerly Karłowice district.

One hour of ‘floating’ will set you back 120zł, with every additional 30 minutes costing 20zł extra. It is also possible to buy a ’10 entry pass’ for 800zł.

Will float pods turn out to be a hit in Wrocław? Let us know your thoughts via our Facebook and Twitter pages.
