Wrocław’s Christmas Lights To Stay Up Until February 2nd

Wrocław’s Christmas lights will continue to shine until Saturday the 2nd of February.

Those who have lived in the city for a few years will know that the lights being up this long is nothing unusual.

Although it may seem strange to have the lights up for so many days after Christmas, they certainly do brighten things up during Wrocław’s dark January evenings.

This winter in Wrocław there are 430 different Christmas lights compositions. This includes new illuminations on pl. Wolności Square and on the Christmas tree in the Nowe Żerniki housing estate.

As in previous years, there have been Christmas lights installed on pl. Nowy Targ, pl. Uniwersytecki, pl. Grunwaldzki, the Rynek, pl. Katedralny, and on the old market square in Psie Pole. Some fountains and bridges have also been decorated with lights.
