New Places To Check Out In Wrocław This November

Sweet treats, pizza, steak and more ...

Wrocław’s culinary scene is constantly evolving as venues come and go. Here’s our latest summary of new places in town. Doudou’s https://www.instagram.com/p/BkNNY66lQ3Z/?taken-by=doudous_official Popular food truck Doudou’s was a hit at a number of beach bars this summer.  Their Egyptian kofta and various grilled dishes are now available all-year-round, as the food-truckers have a permanent spot in Galeria Italiania on Wieżienna street.

The Winners SteakHouse https://www.instagram.com/p/BpPJ0jlhTtw/?taken-at=233376467316073 The Winners Pub recently closed down for renovation, but has now re-opened as the ‘The Winners Steakhouse’, presumably to promote itself as more of a restaurant than a bar.  As you’d expect, steak is the name of the game here. Will the concept of a pricey-steakhouse combined with a sportpub prove to be a hit? Time will tell.

Wrocław has gone pizza bonkers these last 18 months and the pizzerias just keep on coming.  However one place that offers pizza with a twist is PanZerotti on Ruska street, which does southern-Italian style deep-fried pizza. This decadent snack food is well worth a try if you are pizza lover; at least it is a bit different to all the pizzerias that are propping up just now.

One of those aforementioned pizzerias is AleBosco on ul. Uniwersytecka, another venue aiming to create Neapolitan pizza here Wrocław.  Having sampled the pizza here myself I can say it is very good, but then there are so many awesome in pizzerias in town right now. Can this place really stand out?  For craft beer lovers, AleBosco have countless different beers on tap. They also have tv screens that can be used for big sporting events.

Another venue that’s undergone a reboot is Pogromcy Meatów, the multitap and meat-sandwich restaurant on the Rynek.  They’ve now rebranded as Craftova, but admittedly the menu and concept do appear to be similar.

Buduar Cafe https://www.facebook.com/buduarcafe/photos/a.543042112806383/548397538937507/?type=3&theater If you are on the lookout for something sweet, Buduar Cafe on Plac Grunwaldzki may float your boat.  The contemporary cafe and confectioner offer all kinds of alluring cakes and pastries.

All of the venues in this article were compiled with the aid of info from the excellent food blog wroclawskiejedzenie.pl and its sister page wroclovefood.pl.
