Car Accident Takes Life Of 36-year-old Algerian

Gazeta Wrocławska report that a 36-year-old Algerian man died in Wrocław last night as a result of crashing into a concrete pillar.

The accident occurred on Strzegomska Street nearby the railway viaduct. The man was driving his peugeot 406 from the city center towards Nowy Dwór when he lost control of the car. The vehicle veered to the left and hit a concrete pillar hard, as can be seen in the above photo.

The emergency services attempted to revive the man as soon as they arrived at the scene; unfortunately he could not be saved.

The man was travelling alone and it is not known how he lost control of the car. The police have nonetheless ruled out the involvement of another driver.
