Orlen Open ‘Drive-Thru’ Petrol Station Just Outside Wrocław

Orlen have debuted a new ‘drive-thru’ service at its Michałowice Południe petrol station on the S8 road connecting Wrocław and Warsaw.

The petrol station incorporates a special zone where drivers can stop to order fuel and groceries.

After making their order like in a fast-food drive-thru, drivers need only move to another pick up point, where staff will fill up their car and bring any items ordered from the shop.

One of the aforementioned pick-up points will be dedicated to those purchasing food and other goods from the shop.

The main idea behind the concept is to try to minimise the time it takes to deal with queues at the petrol station.

The same is true of the new touch screen devices that have been introduced. Just like the system already used by McDonalds, it aims to reduce wait times and provide a fluid service for anyone ordering food at Orlen.
