Wrocław’s Christmas market will open on November 23rd this year, a week later than in 2017. However this time out it will run until New Year’s Eve, with just a day-and-half break planned for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
More and more tourists are flocking to the Christmas market every year. In 2017 the Christmas Market was extended to cover more areas of the Rynek, plus pl.Solny, Oławska street and Świdnicka street.
The market is open between 10am and 9pm everyday, with the exception of Christmas Eve, when it closes at 2pm. The market is expected to be closed on the 25th of December, although even that hasn’t been set in stone yet.
The Christmas market typically offers classic Polish produce and hot food, as well as food and drink from Hungary, Lithuania, Spain, France and Austria. However it has also garnered a reputation for being a bit of a tourist trap.
