Wrocław Aquapark have announced the construction of an extra hall with facilities dedicated to children and families.
The 39 million złoty extension includes a 700 square metre ‘water playground’ for kids, plus a 150 square metre shallow pool for young children. On top of that, they’ll be 60 ‘free-standing interactive toys’ for youngsters to experiment with.
The project will be funded entirely from the Aquapark’s own finances and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2021. Construction of the new hall will begin in the spring of next year.
Wrocław Aquapark say the new hall is required in order to meet the growing demand from families in particular, who have been flocking to the leisure centre in recent years. It is estimated that approximately 3,000 children now visit the Aquapark every month.
