Return Of Gaj & Tarnogaj Trams Delayed

As Wrocław Uncut feared, the return of trams 8, 31 and 32 to Tarnogaj and Gaj has been delayed.

At present, the three tram lines only go as far as the Gajowa stop due to the renovation of tracks on Hubska and Gliniana street. This has resulted in increased commuting times for residents of the Gaj and Tarnogaj districts, who have had to hop onto temporary shuttle buses to get to and from work.

The renovation was supposed to be completed by Saturday, however MPK Wrocław have announced that this will no longer be the case. At the time of writing, there is no new deadline for the completion of the work.

Relatively recent photos of Hubska street (such as the one above, taken last week) suggested there was (and still is) a lot of work to be done. Therefore it comes as little surprise that the project has been delayed.

Once we have more information on a possible deadline, we will update you via our Facebook page.
