Wizzair To Launch Wrocław-Kharkiv Route In October

Flights will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays

Hungarian budget airline Wizzair will start flights between Wrocław and Kharkiv on October 28th.

The new service will see flights depart for Kharkiv on Wednesdays at 15.55 and Sundays at 14.35. The return flights to Wrocław are scheduled to depart on Wednesdays at 19.45 and Sundays at 18.25.

The lowest possible price of a one-way ticket is 39zł.

Wizzair already operate flights from Wrocław to both Lviv and Kiev-Zhuliany. Ryanair will also start flying between Wrocław and Kiev-Borispol in November. However Wizzair’s latest route represents the first connection between Wrocław and eastern Ukraine.

The news will be warmly welcomed by some Ukrainians currently living in Wrocław, as it should dramatically decrease the time it takes them to travel to their hometown (provided it is located in the north-east of Ukraine).
