Wrocław’s Citybike Network To Double In Size Next Year

Plans are in place to massively broaden Wrocław's bike rental scheme

Wrocław's bike rental scheme is set for a huge overhaul that will see it more than double in size

Following consultations with the public, the city council want to increase the number of citybikes from 810 to 2,000. The number of docking stations will also increase from 81 to 200. On top of that, the bicycles will be available all year round.

We respect the needs of residents, we aim to meet them, but above all, we are really happy that Wrocław's residents are so willing to cycle everyday. The need to integrate the bicycle system with educational institutions was a particularly important aspect that stood out in the surveys. This concerned both facilities for univerity students but also locations at schools.

The aim is to have all of the docking stations listed on the map below functioning by the end of January 2019.
