New Night Market Set For Świebodzki Station

The night market scene is coming back to Świebodzki Station as part of new initiative named Peron 3 (Platform 3).

The night market promises to be a completely different experience compared to Świebodzki's cult flea market on Sundays, where all kinds of various riff-raff and second-hand items can be found across hundreds of stalls.

Many Wrocławians will nonetheless remember that there was a night market held at Świebodzki last year, named Gastro Nocki. The first meeting of Gastro Nocki in 2018 was held at pl. Społeczny last weekend, and they have confirmed on social media that they will not be returning to the site of Wrocław's defunct city-centre train station.

Peron 3 have come in to fill the void it seems, promising to bring great food, drink, music, workshops and other attractions to their night market.

Writing on their Facebook page about the new weekend event, Peron 3 say they have a "simple plan to restore life to the former train station's platforms by substituting trains for culture, art, good food and music."

Popular bar Do Jutra and the upcoming Summer Contrast Festival are among those partnering with the new event.

The opening weekend of Peron 3 takes place on Thursday the 10th of May and various attractions are planned for the 11th and 12th too.
