Jazz Nad Odra Festival Hits Wrocław This Thursday

The Jazz nad Odrą Festival, one of the oldest and most prestigious jazz festivals in Poland, holds its 54th edition this week.

First organized in 1964, the event has become a core part of Poland's music scene for over half a century. Every spring the festival presents a fine line up of interesting jazz acts from all around the world, whose styles incorporate almost every jazz sub-genre.

This year's festival spans four days between April 26th-April 30th. As in previous editions, the majority of the concerts will take place at the Impart centre on Mazowiecka Street.

Tickets for the concerts can be bought online via the festival website, which also contains plenty of information in English on the artists involved.

As well as the ticketed events, there will be free Jazz concerts on pl. Społeczny as part of Gastro Nocki
