Hala Stulecia To Close In December Ahead Of 40m zł Upgrade

According to Gazeta Wrocławska, Hala Stulecia will closed in December for 9 months in order for renovation works to be carried out.

Iwona Jarosz, a representative of Hala Stulecia's marketing department, told Gazeta Wrocławska yesterday that the scope of the renovation will depend on how much funds they can accrue. 20 million zł has already been allocated for the work, however they are seeking to get another 20 million from the Polish Government's infrastructure program.

When completed, the upgrade will allow for more space for exhibitions.

Hala Stulecia last underwent a major renovation back in 2011, when it was closed for 6 months to allow for renovation to the arena's seating areas. This brought Hala Stulecia's capacity up from 6,000 to 10,000 seats.
