6 New(ish) Vegan Places To Check Out

There’s more and more vegan options in Wroclaw— and like other businesses, it’s out with the old, in with the new.
Machina Organika → MO Healthy Vegan Burger
After a five year run, vegan restaurant Machina Organika closed its doors— but open in the same location is MO Healthy Vegan Burger. Following the burger trend, they have a variety of tasty, plant-based burgers, like beetroot, lentil, soy and tofu.
If you’re looking for both vegetarian as well as vegan, try Green Bus. Once a food truck, they have an array of pizzas and gluten-free burgers. Their fried cheese burger is excellent.
Green Way → Wegetarianski Bar Mleczny
Wegetarianski Bar Mleczny takes the place of vegetarian chain cafe Green Way, which closed last summer. Serving up milk bar standards, like pierogi and naleśniki, it’s great to have an alternative to Vega on Rynek. Try the goulash: bit of a kick, and good-sized portions.
Across from Galeria Dominikanska is Mihiderka, one of several locations in Lower Silesia. They’re recently opened, so I’ve only had time to try the pho. It’s got a cozy atmosphere and a great location.
Outside of the center, there’s a new vegetarian place near Pasaz Grunwalski, Vegan Warzywniak.
Geared toward university students, they have generous portions and inexpensive prices. The cafe offers a vegan takes on Polish favorites, like pierogi, leczo and cutlets. I’m happy to see a vegetarian restaurant on that end of town, and always good to have another option for vegan Polish food. Bonus: they have vegan ice cream. Try the sea salt caramel.
Wilk Syty
In Nadrodze you'll find Wilk Syty, which has a changing, seasonal menu. It’s a great place for lunch, as all their dishes are distinctive, delicious and made with fresh ingredients.
