Wrocław Coffee Chain Beats Corporate Giants To Retail Award

Last week Wrocław coffee chain Etno Cafe was crowned Coffeeshop Retailer of the year at the annual CEE Retail Awards, beating giants Starbucks and Costa in the process. 

The Central and Eastern Europe Retail Awards are now into their 10th year. According to Gazeta Wyborcza, it is "one of the most prestigious events in the Central European retail industry." 

Etno Cafe was chosen as the best retailer in the coffee industry, defeating the two other nominees – Stabucks and Costa. Other winners on the night were Douglas (best cosmetics), Victoria's Secret (best fashion) and Kazar (best retailer). 

Etno Cafe has 14 premises in Poland, 6 of which are located here in Wrocław. The coffee chain's roastery is also located in Wrocław, nearby Żerniki station. 

Etno Cafe first started selling its products at gourmet markets. They then opened their first branch on Swidnicka street in 2015. The company have enjoyed significant growth ever since, and now they have branches in 5 different cities across Poland.
