Movie Prop Gallery To Open Under Plac Solny This Month

A new gallery with props and costumes used in well known Polish and Hollywood movies is to open in the bunker under Plac Solny before the end of January.

According to Gazeta Wrocławska, the people behind the gallery had planned to have it up and running in December, but the opening was postponed due to issues with ventilation. They have nonetheless stressed that the gallery is near to completion and should open at the end of the month.

The gallery reportedly includes a fragment of the Death Star from Star Wars, as well as outfits worn by Tom Cruise (in Valkyrie) and Brad Pitt (in Inglourious Basterds). Other props include the claws worn by the Penguin in Batman Returns, an orginal Hellboy mask, as well as items that featured in Prometheus and X-Men.

On top of that, the gallery includes a firing range where visitors will be able to fire weapons that featured in Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down.

The exhibition will be open 7 days a week and the entrance fee is expected to be 17zł.
