We love nothing more than giving away prizes to our readers, and now we've got another competition for you thanks to the guys at World Wide Comedy.
The stand-up group, who celebrated their 5th anniversary earlier this year, will embark on their 6th edition of 'Pulp Non-fiction' next Tuesday evening at Mleczarnia.
Featuring truly funny stories of real life events told by comedians, writers, performers and storytellers, the event offers a different dynamic compared to the traditional stand-up format. The theme for the latest Pulp Non-fiction is 'heat', with the World Wide Comedy team promising to turn up the heat inside as the winter temperatures begin to bite outside.
To win a pair of tickets to take part, simply tag the person you'd like to go to the show with by using the comments section below this article on the Wrocław Uncut Facebook page.
The closing daten for entries is 23.59 this Thursday evening. The following day all valid entries will be entered into a random prize draw, with the winner announced on our Facebook page and contacted via pm.
The four performers at the event, as described by World Wide Comedy, are as follows:
An international comedian who has performed in several countries across Europe, Bärris is a staple of the Vienna comedy scene and is also the house emcee for both Vienna Chuckles and the WomBar Weekly Comedy Night. Currently the most active English-speaking comedian in Vienna—and the first of his contemporaries to become a legally recognized comedian, Bärris comedy offers a unique perspective on race, romance, and the world at large.
Tomasz will perform in English at Pulp Non-fiction
A Polish comedian based in Krakow with many years of experience on many different stages. He has done stand-up, improv, sketch comedy and some other forms of comedy that don’t even exist. Yet. Recently Biskup started performing in English, so you can come and laugh at his jokes or his accent…or both.

A struggling writer is the best way to describe her and she has tried everything, from poetry, to short stories, to song lyrics, to scriptwriting. Thinking of stories, making up stories and performing stories is the thing she loves most, next to eating. This Dutch ex-pat runs the Wroclaw Writers page on Facebook and will run after you if you take her pierogi!
