Wrocław’s 2017 Christmas Market Is Now Open

Wrocław's Christmas market is now open, and its bigger than ever this year due to the addition of extra stalls on pl.Solny.

More and more tourists are flocking to the Christmas market every year, and the organisers started planning for an expansion not long after the last edition had finished.

Earlier this year they managed to secure the permission for that expansion, and now the 2017 Christmas market covers areas of the Rynek, pl.Solny, Oławska street and Świdnicka street.

The market is open between 10am and 9pm everyday and will continue to run until December 22nd.

The Christmas market typically offers classic Polish produce and hot food, as well as food and drink from Hungary, Lithuania, Spain, France and Austria.

On top of that, this year shoppers can find Jewellery from Zambia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Congo and Uganda. There will also be Thai musical instruments and Ukrainian ceramics on sale.
