Wrocław – Zanzibar Charter Flights Announced

It will soon be possible to fly further than ever before from Wrocław airport thanks to a new Zanzibar charter launched by the Itaka travel agency

The new service, which starts on January 7th, will use a 189 seat Boeing 737-800 to fly passengers to and from Zanzibar once a week during the winter season. The first flight takes off on January 7th.

Anyone looking to take advantage of the new route will have to purchase their flights as part of a package from the Itaka travel agency.

Prices for those packages range from 5,599zł for a week in a 4 star-hotel (half board) to 7,199zł for a week's stay in a 5 star hotel (all-inclusive).

While it may be possible to arrange alternative accomodation and flights at a lower cost, the convenience of a direct flight may prove tempting for those who tend to avoid package holidays.

Alternatively, Wrocławians seeking some winter sun can choose from a variety of options a little closer to home. Wizzair currently operate flights to Agadir in Morocco, while Ryanair fly to Malta, Malaga, Tenerife and Tel Aviv.
