Wrocław’s New Bus Station Now Open

Wrocław's new bus station, located on the second underground floor of the Wroclavia shopping centre, is now open

Krzysztof Balawejder, the President of Polbus, described the new facility as "one of the most modern bus stations in this part of Europe." The bus station contains a departure lounge, ticket office, locked luggage facilities and electronic departure boards. 

The underground bus station has 11 departure platforms, 3 arrival platforms and one reserve platform. However that number is 4 less than the previous bus station, a fact that has seen the new bus station become subjected to a fair dose of criticism. 

As a result of the reduced capacity, a number of bus operators will not be able to use the new bus station. This means that some buses, many of which are bound for Ukraine, will continue to depart from the 'temporary' bus station (although that could change in January). A number of other local services will also use a bus stop located on ul. Dawida. 

According to Gazeta Wrocławska, buses will depart from the new bus station's various platforms to the following destinations:  

Platform 1: Głubczyce, Hrubieszów, Jelenia Góra, Karpacz, Kudowa Zdrój, Kunów, Mrzeżyno, Trzebnica, Łódź, Oleśnica, Płock, Sobótka, Sulistrowiczki, Środa Śląska, Turek, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Zielona Góra

Platform 2: Strzelin, Jelcz-Laskowice, Kąty Wrocławskie, Kluczbork, Lwówek Śląski, Oleśnica, Świeradów-Zdrój

Platform 3: Oleśnica, Dzierżoniów, Twardogóra

Platform 4: Oława, Środa Śląska, Bielawa, Karpacz, Kłodzko

Platform 5: Strzelin, Bielawa, Sanok, Lubań, Milicz, Oława

Platform 6: Bielawa, Duszniki Zdrój, Dzierżoniów, Hrubieszów, Jakuszyce, Kamienna Góra, Kłodzko, Konin, Krotoszyn, Kudowa-Zdrój, Stronie Śląskie, Lubań, Milicz , Ustka, Polańczyk, Sanok, Ustrzyki Dolne, Wołów
