Gourmet Market Waves Goodbye To Browar Mieszczański

Wrocławski Bazar Smakoszy is moving from its iconic location at Browar Mieszczański to a new space on Paczkowska street.

The popular Sunday gourmet market, which is full of stalls stocking quality regional, Polish and foreign produce, has always been held at Browar Mieszczański on Hubska street. You can read more about it here.

Many regulars at the market feel the atmosphere that is fostered by Browar Mieszczański's character cannot be easily replicated elsewhere in the city. The people who run the market are aware of this, however their hands have been tied somewhat due to impending roadworks on Hubska street.

The gourmet market's official Facebook page claims that the roadworks will make it near impossible to visit Browar Mieszczański by car. This they feel will be a major obstacle for many of their customers, hence the decision to move to the nearby space on Paczkowska street.

The first running of the market there will be as soon as this Sunday. For those unsure of where it is precisely, please refer to the Google map below:

Going by the comments on their Facebook page, the organisers of Wrocławski Bazar Smakoszy have not yet completely ruled out the possibility of returning to Browar Mieszczański at some stage. However they are adamant that their stint at Paczkowska street will be long enough for the new location to be labelled as "permanent".
