Plans For Park Grabiszyński Revitalisation Revealed

Ambitious plans to revitalise Park Grabiszyński will be considered by Wrocław City Council in the coming weeks.

Proposals released earlier this month invisage the park being split into different zones, including an eco-zone, fitness zone, family zone and a memorial zone.

The family area, which is naturally geared towards children, would incorporate bicycle paths and ramps, plus a large sandpit and a water playground with fountains. Meanwhile people of all ages would be able to use the sporting facilities included in the plan, namely an outdoor gym, a volleyball court and a football pitch.

The plan also includes several water features, a food-truck zone, new paths and the construction of a large conservatory building.

Public consultation on the proposals is currently ongoing and will continue into the first couple of weeks of November.

If the plans do get the go-ahead, it is thought the project will take several years to complete.
