Gourmet Market Moves To Ovo Building

Wrocławski Bazar Smakoszy is moving from its iconic location at Browar Mieszczański to the recently constructed Ovo Building – at least for the next three weeks.

The popular Sunday gourmet market, which is full of stalls stocking quality regional, Polish and foreign produce, has always been held at Browar Mieszczański on Hubska street. You can read more about it here.

However on October 15th, 22nd and 29th, the market will be swapping its old, bohemian setting of Browar Mieszczański for the super-modern Ovo Building.

The organisers of the market have ensured their fans on Facebook that the change is merely temporary. Even so, it wouldn't be a surprise to see them move full time if people are receptive to the change.

At this moment in time, social media opinion on the gourmet market moving to Ovo is largely split. Many regulars say they love the atmosphere at the market that is fostered by Browar Mieszczański's character, and feel it can never be replicated at the Ovo Building. On the other hand, some others feel it will make shopping more comfortable, as well as more convenient due to Ovo's more central location.
