Spain Is Wrocław Airport’s Most Popular Holiday Destination

Statistics published yesterday on tuwroclaw.com show that three out of the five most popular flights (not including charter flights) at Wrocław airport last month went to Spain.

According to the data, flights to Tenerife and Malaga are the most popular; on both routes an average of 96.2% of the seats were taken.

The capital of Portugal, Lisbon, came in 3rd place with 95.7%, followed by Catalunya's Barcelona on 95.3%. The last destination in the top five was Rome – 95.1% of the seats on flights between Wrocław and the Italian capital were occupied.

According to Dariusz Kuś , the President of Wroclaw Airport, Wrocławians are "very happy to organize their holidays on their own". He is also quoted as saying that passengers are very enthusiastic about travelling from Wrocław to southern Europe – a trend he believes will continue into the autumn.
