In episode 8 host Terry Clark-Ward travels south to the village of Piotrowice Nyskie, where writer and former journalist Jim Parton is overseeing a huge transformation of a historic palace.
In the interview section of the show, Terry asks Jim about the contrast between rural Poland the big city of London, as well as his motivation behind purchasing and transforming the palace. There's also time to discuss Jim's work as a writer, which includes the biography of Robbie Williams and "The Bucks Stop Here", a tale of how Jim survived the economic crisis of the early 90's having lost his job.
Following the interview Jim takes Terry on a tour of the palace and shows off the building's assets and quirks, as well as some of challenges left to be overcome.
In the challenge section of the show, Jim and Terry take each other on at a classic English sport, having to deal with some very tough conditions in the process.
