Students Injured At Juwenalia Parade

Several students have been injured after a generator reportedly went up in flames during today's Juwenalia parade.

According to Gazeta Wroclawska, one female student broke her wrist after falling from a platform supporting sound equipment, while 5 others are being treated for burns.

Gazeta Wyborcza are nonetheless stating that 7 were injured in the accident, which occured at the intersection connecting Mickiewicza and Kopernika street. Wyborcza also report that 4 of the injured students had to be taken to hospital.

Gazeta Wroclawska believe that the accident occured when a generator was being refuelled.

Emergency services quickly reached the scene of the accident and were able to put out out the fire and come to the aid of those injured.

The parade continued to move onwards following the accident, while today's Juwenalia celebrations are expected to proceed as normal.
