Wrocław Is Poland’s Favourite Majowka Destination

According to the hotel website Trivago, Wrocław is the most popular holiday destination among Polish people for the upcoming long weekend.

Various Polish news websites, incuding Gazeta Wyborcza and Radio Eska, report that Trivago's data shows a 3 day stay in Wrocław costs 320zł on average (in terms of accomodation).

The top 20 list reveals that Wrocław was the Majowka destination with the most hotel bookings among Poles. The capital of Lower Silesia was followed by Prague, Zakopane and Krakow.

Wrocław's top spot could explained by the exposure the city enjoyed last year from being the European Capital of Culture. Thousands also flock to the Wrocław to take part in the annual group guitar playing record. On top of that, the Government's 500+ child benefit scheme has given families the opportunity to holiday more and visit attractions such as the Afrykarium.
