Classic Poems To Be Recited On Tram 33 Tomorrow

As Wrocław moves towards the end of its 12 month tenure as the UNESCO World Book Capital, classic poems will be recited on tram 33 tomorrow.

The recitals, which are part of a programme of events planned to mark Conakry (Guinea) taking on the Book Capital mantle, will take place on tram 33 between pl.Jana Pawła II and pl.Grunwaldski from 11am until 2pm.

In order to help and encourage future generations of Guineans to read and write, Wrocław city and UNESCO are also planning to send at least 100,000 books to country. Anyone who wishes to donate money towards the books can do so by visiting www.ksiazkidlagwinei.pl.

More details on tomorrow events can be found here on wroclaw.pl.
